About this tool

Greyscale for print-style photos, blur to soften a background, invert for a negative, sepia for a warm cast, or a light sharpen. The amount slider is the CSS filter strength. This is not a layered editor — one pass, one download.

Questions

What can I open in Filter Image?
Filter Image accepts HEIC, HEIF, TIF, TIFF. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Filter Image upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
