PDF to HTML
Export the text of each page as HTML sections you can open in a browser or edit.
Processed in your browser · nothing uploaded
How it works
- 01
Choose a file for PDF to HTML. It accepts PDF. Most files stay in this tab.
- 02
Set the options on the workbench — preview, crop or timeline when this tool has one — then press Run.
- 03
Download the result. It is also saved in your tray so the next tool can pick it up without another upload.
About this tool
Each page becomes a section in one HTML file, with line breaks preserved. The result is readable and editable, not a pixel-perfect clone of the PDF. Scanned pages have no text and will report that nothing was found.
Questions
- What can I open in PDF to HTML?
- PDF to HTML accepts PDF. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
- Does PDF to HTML upload my file?
- Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
- How large can the file be?
- Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
