About this tool

Move the slider: +6 dB roughly doubles perceived loudness, -6 dB halves it. Only the audio track is decoded, scaled and re-encoded; the video stream is copied byte for byte, so the export is fast and the picture identical. Loud sources pushed too far are clipped at full scale — if the result sounds harsh, try a smaller gain.

What can I open in Change Video Volume?
Change Video Volume accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MPG, 3GP, TS, MTS, M2TS. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Change Video Volume upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
