About this tool
Allow camera and microphone access, check the live preview, press Start and Stop when done. The recording is encoded on the fly on your device and offered as a download — there is no upload, no account and no time limit beyond your disk. Use it for quick messages, application videos or checking framing before a call.

- What can I open in Video Recorder?
- Video Recorder accepts the recorder on this page. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
- Does Video Recorder upload my file?
- Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
- How large can the file be?
- Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
