Merge Videos
Put several clips in order and export one video. Clips of different sizes are letterboxed to the first one.
How it works
- 01
Choose a file for Merge Videos. It accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MPG, 3GP, TS, MTS, M2TS. Most files stay in this tab.
- 02
Set the options on the workbench — preview, crop or timeline when this tool has one — then press Run.
- 03
Download the result. It is also saved in your tray so the next tool can pick it up without another upload.
About this tool
Add your clips in the order you want them played and press Merge. Every frame is decoded and re-encoded into one continuous file, and the soundtracks are joined back to back, so mixed resolutions, frame rates and codecs all work. The output takes the size of the first clip; smaller or differently shaped clips are centred on a black frame rather than stretched. Processing runs on your own graphics hardware through WebCodecs — nothing is uploaded.
Questions
- What can I open in Merge Videos?
- Merge Videos accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MPG, 3GP, TS, MTS, M2TS. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
- Does Merge Videos upload my file?
- Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
- How large can the file be?
- Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
