About this tool

Press Start and choose what to share — the whole screen, one window or a browser tab. Tab and window audio is captured where the browser supports it, and the microphone is mixed in when enabled. Frames are encoded while you record, so a long session does not fill memory, and the file is finished the moment you press Stop. Trim, compress or mute it with the next tools without leaving the site.

Questions

What can I open in Screen Recorder?
Screen Recorder accepts the recorder on this page. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Screen Recorder upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
