About this tool

Add a file, choose the output format and export. The whole waveform is reversed sample by sample, so the end plays first and every sound swells instead of decaying. It also works on the soundtrack of a video file.

What can I open in Reverse Audio?
Reverse Audio accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MPG, 3GP, TS, MTS, M2TS. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Reverse Audio upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
