About this tool
Audio is resampled to 48 kHz, processed in 10 ms frames by RNNoise (Apache-2.0 WebAssembly), then mixed with the original so you can keep some room. It is trained for speech. A fan behind a talker is the intended case; a music stem or a second voice will not be carved out cleanly.
Questions
- What can I open in Noise Reduce?
- Noise Reduce accepts MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A, AAC, OPUS, AMR, MP2, WMA, AIFF, AIF. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
- Does Noise Reduce upload my file?
- Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
- How large can the file be?
- Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
