About this tool
EPUB files are ZIP archives of HTML. This tool reads the spine and either paginates the chapter text as a PDF or packs the chapter HTML into a ZIP. Cover images, fixed-layout books and Amazon formats (MOBI, AZW) are not converted.

- What can I open in Ebook Converter?
- Ebook Converter accepts EPUB. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
- Does Ebook Converter upload my file?
- Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
- How large can the file be?
- Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
