About this tool

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many sites and Windows apps still refuse. Drop the file, pick JPEG (smallest), PNG (lossless) or WebP, and download. Decoding uses a WebAssembly HEIF decoder on your device — the photo never leaves the browser. Convert Image accepts HEIC too if you already started there.

What can I open in HEIC to JPG?
HEIC to JPG accepts HEIC, HEIF. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does HEIC to JPG upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
