About this tool

Pick the square size. The source is fitted inside that box and packed as a modern ICO (a PNG payload). Windows and browsers accept this. Multi-resolution ICO packs are not written in this release.

Questions

What can I open in Image to ICO?
Image to ICO accepts HEIC, HEIF, TIF, TIFF. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Image to ICO upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
