How it works
- 01
Choose a video from your device. It is read locally; nothing is sent anywhere.
- 02
Set the options — range, format or quality — and press Run.
- 03
Download the result. Cutting and muting copy the original streams and finish in seconds.
About this tool
Pick a longest side (1920, 1280 or 854 pixels) and a quality level. The video is re-encoded on your device, so nothing is uploaded and there is no queue. Medium quality at 1280 px typically cuts a phone recording to a third of its size while staying perfectly watchable on a screen.
Questions
- Which video formats work?
- MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV. AVI, WMV and FLV are not readable in a browser yet; convert them on your computer first.
- Is the quality reduced?
- Trim and Mute copy the original video packets, so quality is identical. Convert and Compress re-encode using the codecs built into your browser.
- Why is there a size limit?
- Files up to 500 MB are free; browser memory is the real ceiling. Plus raises the limit to 4 GB.
