How it works
- 01
Choose a file for Audio Editor. It accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A. Most files stay in this tab.
- 02
Set the options on the workbench — preview, crop or timeline when this tool has one — then press Run.
- 03
Download the result. It is also saved in your tray so the next tool can pick it up without another upload.
About this tool
This is a full waveform studio, not a one-shot trim form. Open a file on this page and the editor opens in its own window. A video is fine — the soundtrack is taken first. Then cut, copy, paste, fade, equalize, reverse, record, and layer tracks. A spectrogram sits under the wave so you can carve a frequency box. Repair looks for clicks, hum, clips, ess and breaths. Punch-in records from this browser’s microphone over the playhead after a preroll. Export stays in the window as WAV, MP3 or FLAC and lands in the tray for the next tool. It opens files you already have; it does not fetch pages from video sites.
Questions
- What can I open in Audio Editor?
- Audio Editor accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
- Does Audio Editor upload my file?
- Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
- How large can the file be?
- Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
