About this tool

pdf.js gives each string an x/y. Rows are y-clusters; columns are x-clusters. That is table reconstruction, not stuffing every line into column A. Image-only scans can run Tesseract OCR in this tab when you tick the box.

Questions

What can I open in PDF to Excel?
PDF to Excel accepts PDF. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does PDF to Excel upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
