About this tool

Pick a real video container — MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV — or export a GIF, or take the soundtrack as MP3, M4A or WAV. WebM is a video file (.webm), not WebP (that is an image). Quality, resolution, frame rate and codec are applied on your device with the browser's encoders. AVI, WMV and FLV are not written here because a browser cannot mux those containers; use MP4 or MKV for those destinations.

Questions

What can I open in Video Converter?
Video Converter accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MPG, 3GP, TS, MTS, M2TS. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Video Converter upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
