About this tool

Pick a speed from quarter speed to four times faster. Frames are re-timed and re-encoded; the soundtrack is resampled to match, so voices go higher when speeding up and lower when slowing down, like a tape. Mute the clip first if you would rather add music afterwards. Very slow factors on low frame-rate sources will look stepped because no frames are invented.

What can I open in Change Video Speed?
Change Video Speed accepts MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV, M4V, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, MPG, 3GP, TS, MTS, M2TS. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Change Video Speed upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
