About this tool

Press Start, allow the microphone, talk, press Stop. The level meter confirms you are being picked up; echo cancellation and noise suppression are on by default. The recording is saved as lossless WAV on your device — send it to Trim Audio to cut the ends, or Convert Audio for a small MP3.

Questions

What can I open in Voice Recorder?
Voice Recorder accepts the recorder on this page. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Voice Recorder upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
