The archive is opened in this tab (or with a password you type). Every file is written into a new ZIP. We do not write RAR or 7z; those formats are extract-only on the web.

Questions

What can I open in Archive Converter?
Archive Converter accepts ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, TAR.GZ, TGZ. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Archive Converter upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
