About this tool

Drop a folder or a mix of DOCX, RTF, ODT, TXT, HTML, PPTX, XLSX or PDF. The converter picks a reader from the extension and writes the format you chose. Old .doc/.xls/.ppt binaries yield their text. Layout-heavy slides still skip charts.

What can I open in Document Converter?
Document Converter accepts DOCX, HTML, HTM, XLSX, CSV, PPTX, TXT, MD, PDF, RTF, ODT, DOC, XLS, PPT. Older video containers such as AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and 3GP are decoded by the server encoder.
Does Document Converter upload my file?
Browser-native formats stay in this tab. Formats the browser cannot write (AVI, WMV, HEVC, AMR and similar) go to our encoder and are deleted after the download.
How large can the file be?
Free: 500 MB and 8 exports a day. Plus (waitlist) raises the daily cap. A pasted public file URL is also accepted.
